Responsibilities

SAP Solution Governance & Architecture
Act as the primary SAP Solution Architect representing the customer during SAP S/4HANA implementation.
Review, validate, and challenge solution proposals, architecture decisions, and process designs provided by the implementation partner.
Ensure alignment between business objectives, operational requirements, and SAP solution architecture.
Establish governance over SAP design decisions and implementation approach.
Identify implementation risks, gaps, dependencies, and mitigation actions.
Business Process Design
Lead business and Fit-to-Standard workshops across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Warehouse, and Quality Management domains.
Analyze business requirements and ensure their alignment with SAP standard functionality and industry best practices.
Drive future-state business process design for the manufacturing organization.
Promote standard SAP processes and minimize unnecessary custom developments.
Support business stakeholders in making informed process and solution decisions.
Cross-Functional Process Integration
Ensure end-to-end integration across:
Finance (FI/CO)
Procurement & Inventory Management (MM)
Sales & Distribution (SD)
Production Planning (PP)
Quality Management (QM)
Extended Warehouse Management (EWM)
Review integration touchpoints and process dependencies between functional streams.
Ensure consistency and scalability of the overall SAP landscape.
Stakeholder Management
Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the implementation partner.
Translate business requirements into SAP architectural concepts and vice versa.
Participate in steering committee discussions, project governance meetings, and solution reviews.
Provide independent recommendations regarding implementation strategy, roadmap, and solution design.
Design & Delivery Oversight
Participate in Discover, Prepare, Explore, Realize, Deploy, and Run phases of SAP Activate methodology.
Review and validate Conceptual Design deliverables before business sign-off.
Support testing strategy, solution validation, cutover planning, and go-live readiness assessments.
Monitor implementation progress and ensure adherence to agreed scope and design principles.
Data & Migration Readiness
Provide oversight of master data readiness and migration activities.
Review data migration scope, quality risks, and business readiness.
Support business teams in defining data governance principles and migration priorities.

Required Experience

10+ years of SAP consulting experience.
5+ years in SAP Solution Architect, Enterprise Architect, or Lead SAP Architect roles.
Proven experience in at least 2–3 SAP S/4HANA Greenfield implementations.
Strong experience representing customer-side interests during SAP implementation programs.
Experience working alongside major SAP system integrators.
Hands-on experience with SAP Activate methodology.
Experience leading Fit-to-Standard workshops and SAP process design activities.
Experience supporting SAP implementation governance, architecture reviews, and design authority activities.

Experience delivering SAP solutions for manufacturing organizations.
Experience supporting Greenfield manufacturing or factory setup projects.
Understanding of procurement, inventory, production, warehouse, and quality processes.
Preferred
