Regional Sales Director (AI)

Location: Canada, Calgary; remote work available

What you will do

• Lead a regional sales team and ensure consistent use of sales methodologies, prospecting techniques, and CRM processes.
• Coach and mentor Account Executives on new-client acquisition, key account management, and account development.
• Review sales activity, lead follow-up, pipeline performance, quota progress, and individual development needs.
• Assess team capabilities, provide feedback, support career development, and participate in recruiting and interviewing.
• Manage relationships with customers, principals, and channel partners while serving as an escalation point.
• Identify territory growth opportunities and communicate sales progress to sales leadership.

Requirements

• Record of overachievement leading teams selling large deals in a hyper-growth startup environment.
• Strong presentation and communication skills with executive customers, direct reports, and leadership.
• Understanding of cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, cloud security, and data risk.
• Knowledge of data security and compliance frameworks and their impact on business value.
• Experience with consultative selling, CRM systems, opportunity management, and sales support processes.
• Ability to lead a team, meet monthly, quarterly, and annual quotas, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
