Facilities & Safety Manager

Location: Onsite in London (Paddington and Westminster)

What you will do

• Lead day-to-day facilities, health and safety, security, and housekeeping operations across London sites.
• Coordinate planned preventive maintenance and reactive repairs for HVAC, electrical, and fire-safety systems.
• Manage site security arrangements, including CCTV, access control, and liaison with security providers.
• Oversee the company's vehicle fleet, including maintenance, insurance, and budget tracking.
• Manage relationships with landlords, managing agents, and external contractors.
• Prepare and monitor facility budgets, conduct procurement, and negotiate supplier contracts.

Requirements

• Substantial experience in facilities management, workplace operations, and security in a corporate environment.
• Current and valid SIA Close Protection licence.
• Proven experience in line management and contractor oversight.
• Experience with budget control, procurement, and commercial negotiation.
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety, fire safety, and risk assessment.
• Ability to travel between Paddington and Westminster and provide out-of-hours emergency support.

Nice to have

• Qualifications such as IWFM, CFM, or FMP.
• Health and safety certifications (IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH).
• Security certifications like CPP or PSP.
• Experience with multi-site management or business continuity planning.
