What you will do

• Design and optimize low-latency, mission-critical trading systems and high-performance concurrent infrastructure.
• Take end-to-end ownership of trading stack components, from architecture to production operation.
• Collaborate with quants and traders to deliver solutions that improve trading performance and resilience.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues across exchange connectivity, execution, and market data handling.
• Drive engineering standards through technical leadership, code reviews, and mentoring.
• Implement agentic engineering principles by leveraging AI-assisted workflows and automating operational tasks.

Requirements

• Production-grade experience with Rust building high-performance concurrent systems (proficiency with Tokio is a strong advantage).
• Proven track record in systematic trading environments such as HFT, Market Making, or Quantitative Trading.
• Strong AWS and Linux expertise, specifically for latency-sensitive workloads and production troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in Python for strategy development and operational tooling.
• Deep familiarity with trading protocols (FIX, REST, WebSocket) and low-latency networking (TCP/UDP, DPDK).
• Must be based in a European time zone.
