HR Generalist

What you will do

• Support monthly payroll closing activities and payment processes.
• Coordinate Safety & Health Committee operations and manage statutory health examination records.
• Maintain and manage HRIS data and personnel files.
• Support new hire orientation programs and employee engagement initiatives.
• Monitor hiring and transfer processes to ensure compliance with internal standards and local laws.
• Prepare HR data reports including headcount, KPIs, and health check status.

Requirements

• Japanese fluency: Upper Business to Native level is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of HR administration and Compensation & Benefits processes.
• Experience with HRIS data management and personnel file maintenance.
• Ability to work flexible shifts as required by HR operational cycles.
• Professional communication skills for internal and external stakeholder collaboration.
• Must be based in Tokyo, Japan.
