What you will do

• Lead community-based protection activities and provide technical guidance to the protection team.
• Conduct protection monitoring, identify protection concerns, and facilitate access to services through referral pathways.
• Manage protection cases according to established standards while ensuring confidentiality.
• Supervise Protection Assistants and volunteers to ensure quality implementation of project activities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with displaced persons, local authorities, and humanitarian partners.
• Draft regular reports, document case studies, and contribute to project planning and proposal development.

Requirements

• University degree in Social Work, Sociology, Law, Human Rights, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in protection programming, including GBV or Child Protection.
• Proven experience working with vulnerable populations in displacement settings.
• Demonstrated ability to manage teams, budgets, and multi-stakeholder coordination.
• Strong knowledge of protection principles, safeguarding practices, and Program Cycle Management.
• Must be able to work onsite in Adjumani, Uganda.
