Animator Intern (Gamedev)

Location: Must work fully from the hirify.global Office

What you will do

• Assist in creating game-ready 3D animations for characters, environments, and VFX.
• Support the creation and adjustment of rigs for 3D models under senior guidance.
• Produce and implement in-game cinematic animations.
• Integrate and set up animation assets within the game engine.
• Collaborate with artists, designers, and programmers to support production.
• Participate in animation reviews, iteration, and testing.

Requirements

• Final-year student or recent graduate in Animation, Game Development, or Digital Arts.
• Basic knowledge of 3D software (Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max) with a willingness to adapt to Blender.
• Basic understanding of character rigging and animation principles.
• Portfolio, demo reel, or game jam projects demonstrating animation skills.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Must be willing to work fully from the office.

Nice to have

• Basic understanding of shape keys or blend shapes for facial animation.
• Familiarity with Unreal Engine.
