Senior Gameplay Engineer (Unity)

What you will do

• Design, program, and implement robust, scalable game and application systems in Unity for mobile, console, and desktop.
• Break down complex gameplay features into smaller components and communicate the required level of effort.
• Collaborate with design, art, and engineering teams to deliver polished and optimized visuals and mechanics.
• Identify technical risks, deconstruct features into user stories, and assess project scope with the production team.
• Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and maintain high code quality standards.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to less experienced engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar field.
• Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in game development using Unity.
• Strong proficiency in C# and Unity’s API.
• Experience with console development or Live Ops releases involving hundreds of thousands of players.
• Solid understanding of game design principles, programming patterns, and 3D space objects (physics, particles, UI).
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git, SVN) and CI systems (Jenkins, Unity Cloud).
