Company: international fintech company building a proprietary trading engine

💰 Compensation: highly competitive (based on experience)
📍 Location: Dubai, UAE (full-time, office-based)
⚙️ Tech Stack: Go, Python, PostgreSQL, Redis, NATS, Docker, AWS (ECS), CI/CD

💡 Role goal:
Build the core backend infrastructure behind a proprietary trading engine, working on distributed systems, low-latency services, and the architecture that powers it.

🎯 Responsibilities:
You'll build the core backend behind the proprietary trading engine, covering order lifecycle, execution, position management, margin calculation, and risk controls.
The role also includes developing distributed microservices, optimizing PostgreSQL and latency-critical paths, participating in the migration from Python to Go, and contributing to architecture decisions.

💼 What we are looking for:
• 7+ years of backend development experience;
• Strong Go (or C/C++/Rust) background and confidence working with Python;
• Experience building production backend systems;
• Trading platforms, OMS, execution engines, or similar financial infrastructure;
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems and message brokers;
• Solid PostgreSQL and Redis experience;
• English B2.
