Salary: $51,710.00–85,340.00 USD (annual salary range for US locations; hourly role)

What you will do

  • Monitor tool and process performance, identify defects, and assist with yield-related investigations.
  • Classify defects and evaluate test/inspection results to support disposition decisions and root-cause analysis.
  • Review process data and respond to out-of-specification (OOS) conditions and other nonstandard events to maintain process stability.
  • Operate and support semiconductor process and inspection equipment per standard operating procedures and quality requirements.
  • Collect, analyze, and document data to support process control, defect reduction, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to communicate findings and support corrective actions.

Requirements

  • Onsite presence required at the Hillsboro, Oregon facility.
  • Ability to work night shifts and maintain consistent attendance in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
  • Associate’s degree or higher in a STEM field, or a High School Diploma/GED with 2+ years of relevant experience in troubleshooting/maintenance/testing of electronic systems or component-level repair, or STEM analytical/lab experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive/monotonous tasks while maintaining focus.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and take ownership with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency with standard PC tools including Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s degree in a semiconductor-related STEM discipline.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing workflows, quality assurance principles, inline metrology tools, and statistical process control (SPC).
  • Experience in mask or wafer manufacturing environments.
  • Experience training or mentoring peers.
