What you will do
- Provide authoritative live reporting and analysis on breaking and developing stories.
- Generate original stories and identify exclusive news lines through a strong network of contacts.
- Record, edit and produce high-quality audio and video content in the field.
- Write and deliver clear, engaging, and accurate news copy to tight deadlines.
- Attend court sittings, political events, and press conferences.
- Collaborate with editors to shape daily editorial coverage.
Requirements
- Minimum of five years' experience in broadcast news reporting in a busy newsroom.
- Proven track record of breaking stories and producing original journalism.
- Experience using mobile journalism techniques for high-quality content.
- Full, clean driver's licence.
- Third-level qualification in Journalism or a related discipline.
