What you will do

• Develop and deploy advanced ML models to automatically and accurately detect suspicious user behavior.
• Adapt detection systems to evolving fraud and financial crime trends to ensure long-term performance.
• Design and ship ML solutions that scale globally.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary squads including Backend Engineers, Data Scientists, and Risk managers.
• Experiment with technical approaches and justify their effectiveness against business and customer needs.

Requirements

• Proven track record of deploying advanced ML models with demonstrable business impact in a fast-paced tech environment.
• Extensive experience writing production Python code and strong command of SQL.
• Experience shipping deep learning, graph-based, and/or sequence-based ML architectures to production.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Must be based in the UK or eligible for relocation and visa sponsorship to the UK.

Nice to have

• Experience working within financial crime, operations, or regulated financial institutions.
• Commercial experience with microservices and writing critical production code.
• Experience evaluating ML models in live environments via A/B tests.
• Ability to contribute to the overarching ML strategy of the domain.
