What you will do

• Build, operate, and maintain core data infrastructure platforms including Apache Kafka, Kafka Connect, Elasticsearch, and Kibana.
• Design, deploy, and monitor scalable real-time data pipelines across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Develop automation, Infrastructure-as-Code solutions, and operational tooling using Terraform and Ansible.
• Implement and maintain monitoring and observability solutions using Prometheus and Grafana.
• Build and maintain internal tools, APIs, and self-service capabilities for engineering and data teams.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive long-term reliability improvements.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Data Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, or Streaming Platforms.
• Hands-on expertise with Apache Kafka, Kafka Connect, and Schema Registry.
• Strong experience with Elasticsearch and Kibana.
• Proficiency in Python for automation, infrastructure tooling, and operational services.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Must be based in Israel

Nice to have

• Experience with Apache Flink or other stream processing technologies.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL).
• Experience implementing RBAC and working in multi-tenant environments.
• Experience building self-service platforms for developer enablement.
