Mobile Developer (AI): Building BJAK’s AI Neobank mobile experiences across Android, iOS, and cross-platform flows with an accent on onboarding, payments, cards, transfers, rewards, travel, FX, and AI-assisted features. Focus on shipping reliable customer-facing applications, debugging production issues, analyzing crashes and user behavior, and improving mobile UX, speed, and edge-case handling.
Location: Tokyo, Japan; hybrid with at least 3 days per week in the Japan office

What you will do
- Build mobile features across Android, iOS, or cross-platform flows.
- Create onboarding, account, payment, card, transfer, reward, travel, FX, and AI-assisted experiences.
- Own the process from product problem definition through a shipped mobile experience.
- Collaborate with backend, design, product, and AI teams to launch reliable customer-facing features.
- Use production feedback, analytics, crash reports, and user behavior to improve app quality.
- Raise mobile UX, reliability, and performance standards across the product.
Requirements
- Strong mobile development experience in Android, iOS, or both.
- Experience shipping production mobile applications used by real users.
- Good product sense, UX judgment, and attention to edge cases.
- Ability to work with APIs, releases, debugging, and production issues.
- Ownership mindset and ability to work without heavy guidance.
- Strong English communication is required; English is the main working language.
Nice to have
- Clear evidence of shipped work, such as app links, GitHub repositories, screenshots, or project explanations.
- Experience personally building, shipping, or scaling a serious product, platform, or system.
