TL;DR
Lead UI/UX Designer (Gamedev): Steering the end-to-end UX and UI vision for an unannounced mobile title with an accent on scalable design systems, user flows, and technical implementation in Unreal Engine. Location: Hybrid in London, UK (2 days per week in office)

What you will do
- Lead the UX vision for current and future projects, creating wireframes, prototypes, and design briefs.
- Oversee the creative process from conceptualization to technical implementation in Unreal Engine.
- Collaborate with Art Directors, Design Directors, and Product Managers to align UI with gameplay pillars.
- Utilize player data and frequent testing to iterate and improve UX flows during live operations.
- Develop and maintain design guidelines, standards, and scalable UX design systems.
- Manage and mentor a team of internal and external UI/UX designers, focusing on their career growth.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a UX Lead, Manager, or Director with shipped titles.
- Strong background in mobile development, specifically supporting live-operations and agile development.
- Expertise in live-service design methodologies for large player communities.
- Deep mastery of design systems, workflows, and creative processes.
- Must be based in or able to work from London, UK for a hybrid arrangement.
- Excellent verbal and visual communication skills.
