TL;DR
Sr. Storage Engineer (AI/HPC): Managing and building customer-focused data storage infrastructure with an accent on DDN and VAST solutions, SAN/NAS administration, provisioning, and data protection. Focus on configuring storage arrays, troubleshooting performance and capacity issues, administering Linux-based environments, and supporting high-performance storage for HPC and AI workloads.
Location: Hybrid – South Korea; Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do

What you will do
- Install, configure, and build data storage arrays according to customer requirements and availability targets.
- Manage DDN, Pure, and VAST storage area networks (SANs) and network attached storage (NAS) systems.
- Provision storage resources and configure storage pools, volumes, and snapshots.
- Implement and maintain data protection strategies, including backups and replication.
- Monitor performance and capacity, troubleshoot storage issues, perform maintenance, and document configurations and procedures.
- Participate in a weekly on-call rotation and stay current with storage technologies and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of experience in storage administration.
- Proven experience with DDN and VAST storage solutions and storage management software such as DDN SFA or VAST Management Console.
- In-depth knowledge of SANs, NAS, and storage protocols including FC, iSCSI, and NFS.
- Strong Linux systems administration and open-source technology experience.
- Ability to speak English and communicate clearly with team members and clients.
Nice to have
- Experience with storage virtualization technologies such as VMware vSAN or EMC VPLEX.
- Experience with cloud storage solutions such as AWS S3 or Azure Blob Storage.
- Scripting experience with Python or PowerShell.
- Experience with high-performance storage, parallel file systems, and HPC/AI or cloud environments.
- HPC cluster administration experience.
