What you will do
- Develop and improve financial statement processes and checklists.
- Prepare and review financial statement pro formas, roll forwards, workings, and drafts.
- Ensure processes follow operational procedures, controls, accounting standards, and applicable regulations.
- Support department resource planning and staff allocation.
- Build relationships with clients, vendors, and audit firms and respond to stakeholder queries.
- Support junior team members and provide on-the-job training.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in a financial reporting role.
- Post-secondary education in finance, accounting, mathematics, or a related field.
- Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or CFA.
- Ability to apply relevant accounting standards, regulations, procedures, and controls.
