What you will do

• Develop mathematical solutions for pharmaceutical manufacturing, including predictive modelling, statistical analysis, and risk control.
• Design and implement prototypes and new methods for scientific software tools.
• Perform quality reviews and write mathematical documentation for various audiences.
• Provide mathematical expertise to scientific consultants and advise software developers on scientific topics.
• Support end-users of the company's scientific software tools.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work from the Vienna office (Hybrid).
• Ph.D. or Master’s degree in applied mathematics, computational science, numerical analysis, or a related field.
• Professional experience using Python in a scientific context.
• Proficiency with Git.
• English: Professional proficiency (written and spoken) required.

Nice to have

• Experience with collaborative scientific software development or libraries.
• Experience working in Linux environments.
• Knowledge of uncertainty quantification, deterministic/stochastic optimization, or differential equations.
• German language skills.
