What you will do

• Define and drive the multi-year technical roadmap for ML training pipelines, serving architecture, and monitoring systems.
• Develop foundational infrastructure to standardize workflows and accelerate the path from experimentation to production.
• Solve distributed systems challenges related to training across large datasets with residency and security requirements.
• Design scalable serving architectures capable of handling spiky production loads across diverse verticals.
• Identify and eliminate bottlenecks in the ML lifecycle to turn research into routine delivery.

Requirements

• Significant technical experience running deep learning at scale and operating systems for ML engineers.
• Strong proficiency in Python and PyTorch or equivalent frameworks.
• Deep expertise in ML infrastructure including training pipelines, distributed compute, and model monitoring.
• Solid experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Experience building training data warehouses and bringing data systems to ML readiness.
• Must be willing to relocate to Sydney, Australia.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in writing and optimizing custom CUDA kernels for deep learning training.
