What you will do

• Provide technical support for mining customers and regional sales teams.
• Conduct product performance reviews, field evaluations, and warranty-related technical analysis.
• Assist with product design, customization, reverse engineering, and improvement initiatives.
• Prepare solid models, drawings, simulation inputs, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure designs meet manufacturing and delivery requirements.
• Support product trials, testing, and validation processes.

Requirements

• Must be based in Papua New Guinea.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in design, reliability, or application engineering within industrial environments.
• Working knowledge of 3D CAD and FEA software.
• Current driver’s licence and ability to travel locally and regionally (50–75%).
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly to customers and internal teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with Siemens NX, ANSYS, Siemens Teamcenter PLM, or 3D scanning.
• Knowledge of surface mining equipment and mine site requirements.
• Relevant regional mine hazard training.
