What you will do
- Serve as the enterprise platform owner for the global web technology ecosystem, including CMS and hosting environments.
- Manage WordPress configuration, site structure, plugins, and technical standards to ensure global consistency.
- Oversee development and production partners, ensuring high-quality delivery, performance, and adherence to SLAs.
- Translate business and digital strategy requirements into scalable technical specifications and implementation plans.
- Establish governance standards, release management processes, and best practices for web operations.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, including AI, to modernize web operations and improve user experience.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in web technologies, CMS management, or digital engineering.
- Deep expertise with enterprise WordPress platforms, including site architecture and troubleshooting.
- Proven experience managing global, multi-site ecosystems in a regulated environment.
- Strong understanding of web architecture, hosting environments, and performance optimization.
- Experience managing implementation and production partners with a focus on delivery oversight.
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders in a matrixed organization.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree (MBA, MS, or similar).
- Experience in biotech, pharma, or life sciences industries.
- Familiarity with headless CMS architectures and modern web development frameworks.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
