IT Project Manager - NDS (AI/Cloud)

Location: Lincoln, Nebraska; hybrid work with in-office presence three days per week for associates living within 30 miles of an office. External candidates residing in Alabama, California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont, or Washington are not eligible. U.S. citizenship is required because the role requires U.S. Government security clearance.

Salary: $85,000–$115,000 annually, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Lead cross-functional technical project teams through the full software development lifecycle, from application design and development through testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
• Manage custom software development, system integration, cloud migration, and AI-driven initiatives.
• Coordinate developers, cloud engineers, architects, security specialists, QA engineers, business analysts, and other stakeholders.
• Plan and control project schedules, budgets, milestones, resources, risks, dependencies, issues, and delivery metrics.
• Apply Agile or hybrid methodologies, facilitate problem resolution, and communicate project status to stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Promote AI-assisted workflows and lead projects in which AI capabilities are built, integrated, or operationalized.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience leading technical project teams and managing full-cycle application development.
• Strong background in software development, technical architecture, IT infrastructure, and cloud environments.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, and Excel for project tracking, documentation, reporting, and resource management.
• Knowledge of modern development practices, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps principles, containerization, and API-driven architectures.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to complete U.S. Government security clearance.

Nice to have

• PMP or PMI-ACP certification.
• Cloud platform coursework or certifications in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with cloud migration approaches such as lift-and-shift, re-platforming, or re-architecting.
• Experience leading projects involving AI or machine learning capabilities.
