What you will do

• Lead cross-functional hardware teams comprising electrical, mechanical, firmware, and test engineers.
• Coordinate NPI build activities and ensure product maturity through Prototype, EVT, DVT, and PVT validation phases.
• Define team-level milestones, identify the critical path, and manage dependencies against program targets.
• Drive engineering risk analysis, mitigation planning, and oversee the engineering change management process.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in Product, Design, Supply Chain, and PMO partners.
• Lead improvement projects to refine existing product development processes.

Requirements

• Comprehensive knowledge of end-to-end product development including Electronics, Mechanics, Firmware, and manufacturing.
• Proven experience taking complex hardware products through NPI phases into mass production.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira and PLM systems (e.g., Team Center or Arena).
• Knowledge of project management best practices.
• Must be based in or able to work from Oulu, Finland.

• Experience onboarding and managing external vendors.
