L2 Application Support Engineer (ERP)

What you will do

• Manage and resolve complex application incidents while meeting service level agreements.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive actions to reduce recurring incidents.
• Use SQL, Linux/Unix, APIs, monitoring tools, and enterprise application knowledge to troubleshoot system issues.
• Monitor application health and performance, identify risks, and recommend service improvements.
• Create operational documentation, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge articles.
• Support application modernization, cloud adoption, DevSecOps, deployments, releases, and change management initiatives.

Requirements

• 4+ years of application or system support experience in enterprise environments.
• Strong experience in incident management, troubleshooting, SLA-driven support, and root cause analysis.
• Proficiency in SQL and working knowledge of Linux/Unix.
• Understanding of APIs, integrations, application dependencies, infrastructure, servers, networks, databases, and monitoring tools.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and ITIL-based service management skills.
• Ability to collaborate with application owners, developers, infrastructure teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with ERP and enterprise applications such as SAP, Oracle EBS, PeopleSoft, NetSuite, Infor, or Unit4.
• Experience with application modernization tools, Agile/Scrum, DevSecOps, application architecture, middleware, and integrations.
• Exposure to AWS, Azure, or Oracle Cloud.
• Experience with deployments, releases, change management, risk assessment, mitigation, and remediation.
