TL;DR

Senior People Operations Specialist (HR Operations/HRIS): Managing global HRIS administration, people analytics, and employee lifecycle processes with an accent on data integrity and process optimization. Focus on optimizing HiBob workflows, supervising global payroll accuracy, and translating raw HR data into strategic executive insights.

Location: Must be based in Latin America. Candidates in Santiago, Chile, can work hybrid; others are fully remote. Preference for alignment with ET or PT timezones.

What you will do

  • Administer HiBob HRIS, conducting data quality audits and designing workflow enhancements to deliver actionable business insights.
  • Own the end-to-end onboarding journey design and manage global Leave of Absence requests.
  • Oversee global benefits administration and run regular reconciliation processes to ensure compliance.
  • Supervise overall payroll administration, validating inputs and outputs for absolute accuracy and completeness.
  • Develop key People metrics and dashboards to translate HRIS data into strategic analytics for leadership.
  • Serve as the tier-2 escalation point for resolving complex or sensitive people operations cases.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in People Operations or HR Generalist roles, with 2+ years at a Senior level in a global organization.
  • Proven experience managing the employee lifecycle across multiple international jurisdictions.
  • Expert-level administration of HiBob or comparable modern global HRIS (e.g., Workday, BambooHR).
  • High expertise in Excel/Google Sheets (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, Index/Match) for data modeling.
  • Solid knowledge of global payroll administration and compliance practices.
  • Must be based in Latin America and align with ET or PT timezones.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with employer of record (EOR) models or tools like Deel, Remote, or Oyster.
  • Experience supporting global teams across multiple countries.
  • Exposure to DEI, wellness, or internal communication initiatives.
