Salary: $120,000.00 - $160,000.00 - $176,000.00 annually (Colorado)

What you will do

• Lead, enhance, and maintain the global trade compliance program, including policies, procedures, work instructions, controls, metrics, and governance.
• Provide senior guidance on ITAR, EAR, OFAC, CBP, Census/AES, anti-boycott, and other trade requirements for products, services, technologies, data, software, and international activities.
• Develop scalable compliance processes supporting spatial intelligence platform capabilities, ground stations, satellite tasking and imagery products, data/analytics, software tools, APIs, professional services, and cloud environments.
• Serve as an export authority for commercial foreign programs by analyzing U.S. import/export regulations and requirements (ITAR/EAR).
• Classify and mark technical data, software, hardware, and defense services; manage export-controlled documents and facilitate export authorizations.
• Lead/support audits, self-assessments, transaction testing, root-cause reviews, corrective actions, and continuous improvement; monitor regulatory changes and support investigations and voluntary disclosures.

Requirements

• U.S. Person eligibility required (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, asylee, or refugee) for export control/ITAR compliance.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Expert knowledge and experience in ITAR and EAR, including export license drafting/implementation and classification of items.
• Proficiency in DECCS and SNAP-R licensing portals.

Nice to have

• Satellite and spacecraft industry experience on export issues.
• Investigative skills and ability to manage confidential information discreetly.
• Experience using independent judgment and professionalism in compliance program execution.
