TL;DR
Systems Analyst (MSP): Providing high-quality technical support and infrastructure management for small- to mid-sized businesses with an accent on desktop support, server administration, and network security. Focus on resolving complex escalations, managing Hyper-V hosts, and deploying networking solutions like SonicWall and Datto.
Location: Remote (South Africa)
Salary: R300,000 – R350,000 per year

What you will do
- Manage escalated support tickets, handling break/fix challenges, application setup, and user-level configurations.
- Enhance core infrastructure through server administration, networking, and security efforts.
- Set up new Hyper-V hosts and troubleshoot/deploy SonicWall firewalls and Datto networking equipment.
- Document, monitor, and escalate issues using the internal ticketing system.
- Collaborate with a technical team to provide outstanding remote support and service to clients.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of IT support experience in an MSP environment.
- CompTIA A+ and/or Network+ certification required.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, macOS, and Windows Server 2016/2019/2022.
- Working knowledge of SonicWall firewalls, Datto networking, and Microsoft 365/Intune.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills for client interaction.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a collaborative team.
Nice to have
- Experience with Azure and/or AWS.
- Experience with Datto BCDR and/or SaaS Backup.
- Experience using Autotask PSA.
- MD-102 (Modern Desktop Administrator Associate) certification.
