Product Manager (Fintech)

TL;DR

Product Manager (Fintech): Managing and evolving an Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) platform to automate unstructured document data extraction with an accent on commercial strategy, client relationship management, and Agile delivery. Focus on translating client needs into product increments, managing product P&L, and collaborating with offshore engineering teams.

Location: Hybrid, must be based in Nottingham (2 days a week in office)

What you will do

• Define and manage the product vision and roadmap for the IDP platform to ensure scalability.
• Prioritize the feature backlog by balancing client value, technical feasibility, and commercial return.
• Act as a trusted advisor for clients, leading discovery sessions and conducting regular roadmap and business reviews.
• Manage product P&L, including revenue and cost drivers, and develop business cases for new investments.
• Serve as a Product Owner in an Agile framework, managing sprints and backlog refinement with an offshore team in Hyderabad.
• Collaborate with compliance, legal, and risk functions to ensure the product meets all regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner within financial services or FinTech.
• Proven client-facing experience with a track record of building trusted professional relationships.
• Commercial expertise in building business cases and a fundamental understanding of P&L and pricing.
• Strong command of Agile/Scrum ceremonies and backlog management.
• Experience collaborating with offshore development teams.
• Domain knowledge in KYC, AML, lending, or document processing.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with IDP, OCR, document intelligence, or data-extraction technology.
