What you will do

• Perform admission and annual physicals, review medical histories and laboratory testing.
• Prescribe and titrate appropriate dosages of methadone or suboxone based on patient history.
• Manage patients according to established best practices, regulatory guidelines, and accreditation standards.
• Provide medical training and supervision for physicians and nurse practitioners at the clinic.
• Coordinate care with other physicians, clinics, or hospitals as necessary.
• Ensure 24-hour availability to respond to treatment center staff and emergency providers.

Requirements

• Valid, active state medical license (DO/MD).
• Current state controlled substance registration and federal DEA certificate.
• Must be based in or be able to work onsite in Fort Collins, CO.
• Ability to communicate effectively and perform physical tasks required for a medical office environment.
• Ability to manage a variable workload in a potentially high-stress environment.
