What you will do

• Collaborate with leadership to define the technical vision and evaluate the feasibility of graphical features.
• Supervise and support a team of Technical Artists and Principal Technical Artists.
• Develop and maintain technical solutions in Unreal to meet visual goals and production needs.
• Analyze constraints related to rendering, memory, and performance to recommend optimal solutions.
• Design and integrate tools and workflows to enhance artistic and technical production pipelines.
• Establish and maintain technical standards, best practices, and reference documentation.

Requirements

• Experience in technical direction within technical art or graphics programming in the video game industry.
• Proven experience managing, mentoring, or coordinating technical teams.
• Advanced knowledge of Unreal and a deep understanding of rendering systems and graphics architecture.
• Proficiency with 3D software such as Maya, 3ds Max, and Substance Painter.
• Understanding of programming or scripting languages like C++, Python, or C#.
• Must be based in or able to work from the office in Montreal, Montpellier, or Sofia.
