AppSec Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Support and improve the company's vulnerability management process.
• Perform vulnerability triage, risk assessment, and remediation tracking.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure timely remediation of security findings.
• Monitor remediation SLAs and provide visibility into security posture through metrics.
• Participate in threat modeling for new systems and architectural changes.
• Define application security requirements and integrate security practices into CI/CD workflows.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Application Security, Product Security, or Vulnerability Management.
• Hands-on experience managing vulnerabilities across applications, containers, and cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of OWASP Top 10, CWE, CVSS, EPSS, and MITRE ATT&CK.
• Experience with security testing technologies like SAST, DAST, SCA, and Cloud Security tools.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
