TL;DR

Channel Sales Engineer (Cybersecurity): Serving as a technical bridge between the Japanese market and global teams by providing pre-sales support, solution design, and partner enablement for hirify.global cybersecurity products. Focus on driving adoption of MDR, XDR, and managed security services through technical consultations, PoC execution, and cross-functional collaboration with HQ.

Location: Must be based in Tokyo, Japan (Hybrid work culture)

What you will do

  • Provide technical pre-sales support to strategic channel partners, distributors, and MSPs.
  • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical training sessions.
  • Design cybersecurity architectures and assist partners with PoC planning and execution.
  • Act as a primary technical liaison between Japanese partners and hirify.global global teams.
  • Drive technical enablement for MDR, EDR, and XDR service offerings.
  • Represent hirify.global at industry events and conferences to maintain awareness of market trends.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Pre-Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or Technical Account Management.
  • Business-level Japanese and professional-level English communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity technologies and architectures.
  • Experience supporting channel partners, distributors, or reseller ecosystems.
  • Ability to lead technical discussions with both local customers and global stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

  • Experience with EDR, XDR, MDR, or Threat Intelligence.
  • Security-related certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GIAC.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms and SaaS security technologies.
  • Experience collaborating with Product Management or technical HQ teams.
