What you will do

• Refine the strategic vision and lead the execution of the long-term AI Century Study.
• Integrate qualitative, quantitative, and longitudinal research methods to analyze AI impacts.
• Lead the full research lifecycle, including data governance, ethics, and quality assurance.
• Develop and sustain strategic relationships with funders, policymakers, and academic collaborators.
• Represent the study as a thought leader in national forums and media.
• Mentor and supervise a multidisciplinary team of researchers, analysts, and designers.

Requirements

• PhD with 7+ years or Master’s with 11+ years of relevant experience in social science, education, technology policy, or related fields.
• Proven record of directing large-scale, multi-year research initiatives and longitudinal studies.
• At least 5 years of experience managing complex partnerships across nonprofit, government, or academic sectors.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis (no visa sponsorship available).
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex research findings into actionable policy insights.
• Strong leadership skills with experience fostering inclusive, high-performing interdisciplinary teams.
