What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain high-volume business logic running on mainframes.
• Refactor legacy code to enable seamless interaction between core data and modern cloud or mobile applications.
• Monitor architecture and identify opportunities to optimize code to enhance mainframe performance.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and analyze complex system interactions to ensure mission-critical application stability.
• Extract business logic from legacy systems for migration or integration with cloud-based services.

Requirements

• Solid development experience with Java and a deep understanding of OOP and design patterns.
• Experience with Microservices architecture, containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and messaging queues.
• Proficiency in relational and NoSQL databases, data mapping, XML/JSON, and REST-based web services.
• Proven experience working on complex software projects with a focus on scalability and robustness.
• Knowledge of Spring, SpringBoot, Quarkus, and Azure services such as AKS, APIM, and Azure Functions.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Certifications in Azure, AWS, or Google GCP.
• Experience with WebFlux, RXJava, or Kogito.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools and modern engineering practices.
