Legal Engineering Specialist (AI)

Location: On-site in Houston (mentions of Union Square office)

Compensation: $225K – $325K OTE + Equity + Bonus

What you will do

• Act as a thought partner to tax partners and legal advisory leaders to identify high-value AI opportunities and address pain points.
• Own client relationships from initial pilots to onboarding and guiding firm-wide adoption across Big 4 and professional services firms.
• Serve as the voice of the user to directly inform product development, roadmap priorities, and strategic direction.
• Deliver high-impact product demos and training to global advisory teams and legal consulting professionals.
• Develop scalable playbooks and document best practices for legal AI implementation globally.
• Guide firms through the ROI and competitive impact of AI, mapping its influence on service lines from tax compliance to regulatory advisory.

Requirements

• Background in law or tax with experience at a Big 4 firm or leading professional services practice.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Houston.
• Strong curiosity and proficiency in navigating technical conversations regarding generative AI and productivity technology.
• Ability to communicate confidently and translate concepts across diverse stakeholders, from partners to engineers.
• Experience evaluating and improving professional services workflows through emerging technologies.
• Proactive and self-directed approach to managing multiple complex client relationships simultaneously.
