What you will do

  • Perform equipment maintenance and repair, including plumbing, metal fabrication, and carpentry.
  • Conduct daily inspections of conveyor systems and packing equipment to ensure operational accuracy.
  • Utilize CMMS to record labor, corrective actions, and track parts inventory.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical problems in components and circuits.
  • Manage PIT battery maintenance, including removal, replacement, and recovery.

Requirements

  • 12-24 months of experience in mechanical maintenance or relevant military roles.
  • Proficiency with maintenance tools and equipment.
  • Basic understanding of VFD operation and PLC I/O control systems.
  • Knowledge of motor starters and control cabinets.
  • Ability to meet physical demands: lifting 75 lbs, climbing ladders, and standing for 10-12 hours.
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and floating schedules.

Nice to have

  • 2-5 years of maintenance experience or vocational/college training.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical, pneumatic, and plumbing schematics.
  • Knowledge of HVAC and general appliance repair.
  • Experience with conveyor mechanical systems (belts, drives, tracking).
