What you will do
- Own the legal and compliance strategy to enable business growth while maintaining strong governance.
- Streamline commercial contracting processes by creating practical templates and playbooks.
- Lead the GRC program, ensuring audit-readiness for ISO 27001, SOC 2, and other standards.
- Serve as Data Protection Officer, ensuring compliance with Saudi PDPL, GDPR, and privacy regulations.
- Manage corporate legal matters, including board governance, M&A, and due diligence.
- Build and lead a lean internal team while coordinating external counsel across jurisdictions.
Requirements
- 10+ years of legal experience, including in-house leadership in a technology or SaaS company.
- Qualified lawyer with strong commercial, corporate, and technology law expertise.
- Strong preference for Saudi law exposure and understanding of the KSA/GCC regulatory environment.
- Proven experience with compliance programs (ISO 27001, SOC 2) and data protection (PDPL/GDPR).
- Hands-on experience with M&A, transaction processes, and board-level interactions.
- Fluent in English required; Arabic language skills are strongly preferred.
