What you will do

• Support the expansion and promotion of the Public & Government Affairs team in Japan and internationally.
• Lead day-to-day account workstreams, serve as a primary client contact, and manage client deliverables.
• Research complex geopolitical and policy issues and turn findings into clear client briefs and reports.
• Develop and execute stakeholder engagement strategies and advise clients on navigating geopolitical and business challenges.
• Manage project budgets, administrative tasks, proposals, marketing activities, and thought leadership development.
• Delegate to junior staff, coach team members, and provide feedback to improve efficiency.

Requirements

• At least 5–7 years of relevant experience in government, a private firm, or an association.
• Business-level English proficiency.
• Strong client relationship, interpersonal, communication, writing, editing, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage budgets and staffing projections and communicate complex ideas clearly.
• Interest in and understanding of global geopolitical affairs; experience with Japanese policy is advantageous.
• Ability to work collaboratively with integrity, humility, curiosity, and a focus on client outcomes.
