TL;DR

Image Signal Processing (Embedded Linux): Integrating ISP device software stacks into upstreamed Linux environments and developing image and camera data processing algorithms with an accent on embedded C/C++, libCamera, V4L, and image quality measurement. Focus on upstreaming and maintaining Linux changes, optimizing image processing features, co-designing hardware and software, and supporting customer-facing image quality validation.

Location: Roznov, Czech Republic. A valid visa and work permit for the Czech Republic are required at the application stage. Flexible work hours and home office are available.

What you will do

Integrate the ISP device software stack into upstreamed Linux, including libCamera, V4L, drivers, and middleware.
Develop image processing and camera data processing algorithms.
Apply internally developed features and optimize efficiency in upstreamed Linux versions.
Manage the upstreaming process, maintenance, community communication, and documentation updates.
Participate in hardware/software co-design and image quality assurance for final products.
Develop demo applications for KPI and image quality measurements, and communicate with customers and stakeholders.

Requirements

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, image signal processing, vision processing, or a related field.
At least 3 years of programming experience with C/C++ and Python, emphasizing Linux development and community work.
Expertise in embedded C/C++ programming.
English at a communication level is required.
Problem-solving, decision-making, planning, organizing, project management, and coaching skills.
Interest in image processing or photography.

Nice to have

Experience with digital image signal processing and image quality measurements.
Experience or interest in machine learning and AI.
Experience with embedded systems.
