Sales Engineer (SaaS): Driving enterprise deals by managing the technical sales cycle and delivering PoCs for a data quality platform with an accent on translating complex customer data problems into solutions. Location: On-site in Brooklyn, NY (must be based in NYC or willing to relocate)
Salary: $100,000–$140,000

What you will do
- Run demos and scope PoCs alongside Account Executives from the first technical call to closed-won.
- Translate customer problems into technical solutions and communicate capabilities to diverse stakeholders.
- Build custom demos, sample pipelines, and PoC environments that demonstrate real business value.
- Own product, technical, and security responses for RFPs and RFIs.
- Act as the technical voice in meetings with Data Engineers, Heads of Data Platform, and Chief Data Officers.
- Provide critical feedback from the field to the product and engineering teams to influence the roadmap.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience as a Sales or Solutions Engineer at a B2B SaaS company.
- Undergraduate degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or similar).
- Fluency in Python, including the ability to read, write, and debug in front of customers.
- Proven experience running demos and supporting PoCs within customer environments.
- Strong customer communication skills, capable of explaining complex topics to both engineers and executives.
- Based in NYC or willing to relocate.
Nice to have
- Degree from a top-tier university.
- Experience selling specifically to data teams (CDOs, Data Engineers).
- Familiarity with data quality, governance, or observability tools.
- Fluency in the modern data stack: Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, dbt, Airflow, Kafka.
- Experience working at high-growth Series A-C startups.
