Assistant Vice President (AI/Business Management)

Location: Must be based in Hong Kong. Hybrid role: In-office Monday-Thursday, remote on Friday.

What you will do

• Design and implement key performance indicators to drive operational excellence.
• Lead strategic planning for market penetration, client targeting, and product delivery.
• Develop and optimize reporting frameworks to provide actionable data insights.
• Execute strategic initiatives for APAC growth, including business forecasting and process improvement.
• Analyze industry trends in Asset and Wealth Management to present findings to senior leadership.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to execute AI initiatives and improve metric tracking.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or business management.
• Strong academic credentials in Finance or a related field.
• Proven track record of using data to drive business decisions and structure complex problems.
• Deep understanding of Asset and Wealth Management industries, ideally with private markets exposure.
• Ability to establish long-term cross-functional connections.
• Must be based in Hong Kong and able to work from the office 4 days per week.

Nice to have

• 1-2 years of operating experience at a hypergrowth startup.
• Exposure to analytics automation, AI-enabled tools, or machine learning concepts.
• Fluency in Mandarin, Japanese, or Korean.
• Experience with Salesforce.
