TL;DR

Strategy Analyst (Marketing): Conducting quantitative and qualitative research to shape the strategic direction of flagship accounts like Microsoft with an accent on data-driven insights and consumer behavior. Focus on translating complex datasets into strategic narratives and identifying market whitespace.

Location: Hybrid in Lisbon, Portugal (average 4 days per week in office)

What you will do

  • Execute rigorous research processes, including drafting surveys and analyzing quantitative audience segmentation studies.
  • Review campaign and business performance data to identify trends and uncover optimization opportunities.
  • Leverage social listening tools to monitor conversations and extract actionable strategic insights.
  • Conduct regular competitor analysis and trend spotting to identify untapped market opportunities.
  • Translate raw research and data into clear, highly visual insight decks and trend reports.
  • Maintain organized research libraries and support the preparation of high-quality client briefings and workshops.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical skills and genuine comfort working with complex datasets and numbers.
  • Ability to generate strategic recommendations (the "so what?") from raw metrics and desk research.
  • Fluent written and verbal English proficiency.
  • Uncompromising attention to detail and ability to present polished, error-free work.
  • Must be based in or able to work from the Lisbon office on a hybrid basis.

Nice to have

  • Experience with research methodologies or platforms such as Brandwatch or GWI.
  • Strong interest or background in strategy, communications, media, or the technology industry.
  • Previous exposure to a creative, media, or communications agency environment.
