Lead Fire Engineer (Tunnels)

Location: Based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

What you will do

• Manage key fire and life safety projects in Saudi Arabia and across the Middle East region.
• Perform performance-based design and sensitivity analysis for critical infrastructure projects.
• Conduct code consulting and review fire safety drawings in line with applicable standards.
• Lead design reviews and participate in business development meetings to develop technical proposals.
• Lead and mentor a small team of fire engineers and interact with multiple stakeholders.
• Prepare and present comprehensive technical reports.

Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of industry experience in fire engineering, preferably within a consultancy environment.
• Postgraduate qualification in Fire Engineering.
• Working experience in the Middle East region.
• Deep expertise in tunnel fire engineering, including ventilation, structural resistance, and evacuation strategies.
• Ability to undertake assignments independently and mentor young professionals.
• Working towards becoming a Chartered Engineer.
