Apps Integration CI/CD & Automation Engineer

Location: London/Osterley, UK; hybrid work with 2 days per week in the office. Appropriate right to work in the UK is required; visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for web applications.
• Support automated UI, integration, and regression testing frameworks.
• Create and maintain automated test scripts for web-based applications.
• Integrate automated testing into deployment pipelines and monitor pipeline runs.
• Investigate failures, support issue resolution, and collaborate with developers to improve feature testability.
• Document automation frameworks, pipelines, and processes while adopting DevOps and testing best practices.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts, build pipelines, and automated deployments.
• Experience with manual or automated web application testing.
• Exposure to automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
• Basic scripting knowledge in JavaScript, Python, or a similar language.
• Familiarity with Git and understanding of HTML, CSS, and APIs.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Exposure to Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar CI/CD tools.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Understanding of REST APIs and API testing tools.
• Awareness of cloud environments or containerisation, such as AWS or Docker.
