TL;DR
Data Engineer (Snowflake/Python): Developing and optimizing scalable data pipelines and Snowflake DWH architecture with an accent on reliability, observability, and security. Location: Remote within EMEA; presence in Estonia, Malta, or Serbia

What you will do
- Maintain and enhance the Snowflake data platform and pipelines using AI-assisted development tools.
- Design and optimize incremental data integration pipelines with a focus on performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Implement data security controls, support audit and compliance, and monitor platform usage and costs.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Operations teams to deliver scalable data solutions.
- Drive innovation by adopting modern engineering practices and automation to accelerate delivery.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Data Warehousing, Database administration, or Database development.
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer using SQL and Python.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes.
- Operational experience administering Snowflake at scale, including RBAC, warehouse sizing, and query analysis.
- Proficiency with ELT tools and integration technologies such as Airflow, DBT, S3, and REST-API.
- English: Excellent knowledge and communication skills required.
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or Cortex.
