What you will do
- Apply causal inference methodologies to measure the incremental impact of player experiences and commercial initiatives on Customer Lifetime Value (CLV).
- Design, analyze, and interpret experiments, quasi-experiments, and observational studies.
- Develop frameworks for measuring uplift and causal impact across acquisition, engagement, and retention.
- Analyze large-scale behavioral and transactional datasets to quantify drivers of player value.
- Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to operationalize causal insights into decision-making processes.
- Translate complex statistical analyses into clear, actionable recommendations for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- Experience applying causal inference techniques in a commercial, product, or research environment.
- Strong understanding of causal inference methods and experimental design/A/B testing.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL, including experience with statistical and causal inference libraries.
- Strong foundation in statistics and experience working with large datasets.
- Master's or Ph.D. in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Double Machine Learning, Causal Forests, Meta-Learners, and Uplift Models.
- Knowledge of Bayesian methods for causal analysis.
- Experience in gaming, e-commerce, or subscription-based products.
- Experience with PySpark or equivalent distributed data processing tools.
- Familiarity with MLOps or data pipelines.
