TL;DR
Controller (Finance): Managing financial reporting and controlling activities for Norway and Denmark operations with an accent on industrial cost performance and commercial profitability. Focus on driving variance analysis for the Drammen plant, optimizing budgeting/forecasting processes, and providing strategic financial insights to business leaders.

What you will do
- Partner with the Plant Manager to monitor and improve production cost performance and drive detailed variance analysis.
- Support Sales leaders in Norway and Denmark to monitor business profitability and commercial performance.
- Lead and coordinate planning processes, including budgeting, rolling forecasts, and annual financial planning.
- Manage inventory levels and capital investments to optimize working capital and resource allocation.
- Define and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to highlight risks and opportunities for senior management.
- Execute month-end closing activities and ensure compliance with Group HQ guidelines and internal controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Controlling role, preferably within an industrial or production setting.
- Proven expertise in month-end closing processes, management reporting, and cost management.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; SAP experience is highly preferred.
- Fluency in English.
Nice to have
- Proficiency in Nordic languages.
- Experience with reporting and BI tools such as Hyperion or QlikView.
