What you will do
- Lead the Grants & Partnerships unit, overseeing award management, donor reporting, and proposal development processes.
- Drive the country program's partnership strategy, ensuring effective onboarding and management of local partners in line with PEERS standards.
- Provide strategic leadership for the MEAL unit, focusing on data utilization, program quality, and client accountability.
- Serve as a member of the Senior Management Team (SMT), contributing to strategy development and organizational decision-making.
- Manage and mentor a team of approximately 20 staff across grants, partnerships, and MEAL functions.
- Represent the organization with humanitarian donors and mobilize resources to support country program priorities.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience in international development or a related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in grants management and business development within a humanitarian or development context.
- At least 3 years of experience leading M&E functions in a humanitarian organization.
- Sound knowledge of donor regulations including ECHO, US Government, UN agencies, and FCDO.
- Fluency in English with superior writing, editing, and budgeting skills.
- Strong organizational, time management, and analytical leadership capabilities.
