TL;DR
Data Analyst (SaaS/Billing): Ensuring the accuracy and reliability of billing and invoicing data across the AppXite Platform with an accent on SQL-based data validation and API troubleshooting. Focus on automating financial workflows, resolving data discrepancies, and improving operational efficiency.
Location: Remote (Anywhere in the world, EMEA time zone) or Hybrid (Riga, Latvia)

What you will do
- Verify billing and invoicing data across the platform to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Perform recurring discrepancy analysis and investigate root causes of data inconsistencies.
- Analyze large datasets using SQL and perform data validation across multiple systems and vendor platforms.
- Define requirements and development tasks to optimize billing workflows and automation.
- Act as a subject matter expert for billing functionality, collaborating with Dev, QA, and Product teams.
- Mentor colleagues and maintain technical documentation for platform processes.
Requirements
- Advanced SQL scripting skills and experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
- Hands-on experience with Postman or similar API testing tools.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and system integrations.
- Advanced Excel skills for managing large datasets.
- Must be able to work within the EMEA time zone.
Nice to have
- Experience with billing, invoicing, or cloud commerce platforms.
- Knowledge of ETL processes and data transformation workflows.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure (Logic Apps, Data Factory, Function Apps).
- Ability to read C# code to support investigations and troubleshooting.
- Practical experience using AI tools to optimize business processes.
