Manager, Finance Risk & Controls (Risk Management and Compliance): Supporting the Italian market by implementing and monitoring financial, operational, and compliance controls with an accent on internal control frameworks, audit coordination, and business risk assessment. Location: Milan, Italy; hybrid work arrangement
Gross annual pay: €31,000–€56,000 EUR

What you will do
- Support the implementation and monitoring of the Italian financial, operational, and compliance control framework.
- Promote ethics and integrity while advising on anti-bribery, corruption, and internal policy requirements.
- Design and operate quality reviews and second-line control monitoring programs.
- Coordinate business risk maps, self-certifications, Letters of Representation, and Code of Conduct reviews.
- Manage audit and compliance activities, including remediation plans and collaboration with internal and external auditors.
- Partner with business stakeholders to develop pragmatic, sustainable, and standardized process improvements.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in risk and controls, ethics and compliance, business process improvement, risk management, or internal/external audit.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, and PCAOB requirements.
- Experience assessing business risks and evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of internal control systems.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate across functions and geographies.
- Fluency in Italian and English at C1/C2 level.
- Proficiency in Excel and openness to using technology and AI to improve processes.
Nice to have
- Experience in media and advertising and knowledge of core business processes.
- Certified Accountant, ACA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification.
